Same-sex marriage given legal standing in Connecticut
Oct. 10, 2008 by kanderson
Same-sex marriage now has legal standing in Connecticut. Today, the Connecticut State Supreme Court issued a ruling that same-sex couples have the right to legal marriage.
A huge gala party to celebrate this milestone will be held tonight at the Hilton hotel in Hartford, at 315 Trumbull Street, at 7 PM. Before the party, an equality rally will be held at 5:30 PM on the north steps of the state capitol in Hartford. Both are organized by Love Makes a Family.
